Via "Register" you enter your company details, address and an email address, and set a password. You then confirm your email address using the link we send you. Sign-in is only possible after confirmation.

As long as your email address is not confirmed, you cannot log in. Unconfirmed accounts are automatically and completely deleted after seven days — no permanent account is created.

Yes. On the Free plan you can create QR codes and design the scan landing pages. To unlock print downloads and for permanent operation, choose a subscription or the one-time purchase of a code.

No. QR code creation, the editor and the label designer are made for non-technical users — you fill in fields and drag blocks via drag-and-drop.

The QR code points to a fixed, short address (12-character slug). You can change the actual target — the scan landing page or a redirect — at any time without having to regenerate the printed code. The code, once printed, therefore stays up to date forever.

As PNG, JPG, SVG (vectorized) and PDF. For the print shop, use the PDF — print-ready at 1200 dpi in final size, looking exactly as it does in the editor and accepted by print service providers. (SVG is vector-based but is not accepted by every print shop.)

Yes. You choose module styles (e.g. square, rounded, dots), colors and a quick selection such as "Classic Black/White". Always ensure sufficient contrast so that the code remains permanently scannable — especially on cardboard and rough surfaces.

Scan landing page: an info page you design that appears when scanned. Redirect: the scan goes directly to a URL you provide. File mode: the scan opens a stored PDF file directly.

Yes. Every content change to a scan landing page is versioned and stored historically, so earlier states remain traceable.

Yes. You can duplicate a code as a new draft and continue working from there — handy for similar products or batches.

In the editor you build the page from blocks: headings, texts, field values, links, images, logos, icons, pictograms, accordions, PDF attachments, dimensions, manufacturer details, dividers and row containers. You arrange everything freely via drag-and-drop.

Yes. In the "Global Page Design" section you set the background, card colors, font, accent color, logo and a mini heading ("eyebrow") — this applies to the entire scan landing page.

Yes. Next to the editor you see a preview that shows your input in real time. This lets you check the result before you save.

Yes. A field (e.g. "Material") can contain multiple values; these appear both in the editor preview and on the finished scan page.

Yes, via the file module. Uploaded files can be embedded as individual PDF blocks or displayed as a complete file list. Delivery takes place via an isolated sandbox subdomain (files.ppwr-qrcode.de) with signed, time-limited links.

You unlock the file upload module as a permanent one-time purchase — it is not included in any plan. After unlocking, you have a storage quota available, which you can expand as needed with a monthly storage package.

You can add additional storage as a monthly storage package. You can see your used and available storage at any time in your account.

Yes. The label designer creates print-ready labels including your QR code. The drafts are saved with versioning.

Yes. In the shop you order pre-printed labels in ten standard sizes. Printing is done in-house in Germany, with a delivery time of 5–7 working days.

Yes. You download the print-ready PDF and print on your own labels — or you have us print them directly.

Yes. In the footer of each scan page, the end customer can choose between six languages via flags (DE/EN/FR/ES/PT/IT). Our framework texts are permanently translated.

Only if you want it to be. In the editor you enable the "Multilingual: translate content automatically" option per QR code. The title, description, headings and field values are then machine-translated (default: off). Without the checkbox, your content stays in the original language.

It is a machine translation — good, but not guaranteed to be error-free, especially with technical terms. Proper names, addresses and codes remain untouched. On foreign-language pages we point this out discreetly.

Free, Starter, Pro, Master and Enterprise. The plans differ, among other things, in the number of QR code slots and the range of features. Current prices and contents can be found on the pricing page.

Yes. All plans are cancellable on a monthly basis; annual payment with a discount is also possible. There is no setup fee.

One slot corresponds to one QR code. If the slots included in the plan are not enough, subscription customers can add additional slot packages (e.g. +25, +100 or +250 slots per month).

Yes. Individual QR codes are available as a one-time purchase. After payment, the content is fixed (no longer changeable) and a multi-year hosting guarantee applies. If you change content more often, a subscription is usually more economical.

Processing is handled via Stripe (credit card, among others). Subscriptions are automatically billed monthly or annually.

Yes. All invoices are issued as e-invoices (ZUGFeRD/XRechnung) — machine-readable for your accounting, including a classic PDF view. You will find them in your account under "Orders".

We are a pure B2B provider and quote net prices plus statutory VAT. You can store a separate accounting email address for invoice delivery.

With a valid VAT ID from another EU country, we apply the reverse-charge procedure (the recipient of the service is liable for the tax).

In Frankfurt am Main (EU region). The database and hosting are located in the EU; every table is secured via row-level security.

Yes. You can activate an authenticator app (TOTP) and/or an SMS code, plus one-time backup codes. If 2FA is active, it is requested at every sign-in.

Yes, under "Security". You change the password after confirming your current password. For email changes, for security reasons we send a confirmation link to your previous address — the new address only becomes active after you click it.

Yes — removing a factor requires re-entering your password, and you receive a security notification by email.

Yes, from the Master plan onwards. Via CNAME you point e.g. qr.yourcompany.com to us; your scan landing pages then appear under your own domain. Setup is done in the "Security → Custom Domain" section.

Yes. Through the partner/affiliate program you earn from referred customers — a commission on the first monthly subscription as well as a commission on one-time purchases. Payout is made monthly, and a dashboard shows your referrals transparently.

Yes. Under "Settings → Account & GDPR" you download all your data as JSON (complete) or as CSV (QR codes) — in accordance with GDPR Art. 20.

Via "Settings → Delete account". The deletion is scheduled with a reactivation window; after that, your data is permanently removed or anonymized — in compliance with statutory retention obligations for invoices.

In the settings you choose which optional emails you receive (support, shipping status, plan notices, marketing). Mandatory emails such as invoices, order confirmations and auth codes are always sent to you for legal reasons.
