How do subscription and one-time purchase commissions differ?
Subscription: 50% of the first net monthly fee, once per referred subscription, credited after 14 days. One-time purchase: 10% of the net purchase price, on every single-code purchase, credited instantly. Both apply to the same referred person.
Do I receive the subscription commission on a recurring basis?
No — the subscription commission is paid once per referred subscription (50% of the first month). For one-time purchases, however, you earn again on every individual purchase your referral makes.
Why is the one-time purchase commission booked instantly, but the subscription commission only after 14 days?
For subscriptions, we wait out the safety period so that no commission is paid for a cancelled subscription. For one-time purchases, we book immediately — should a refund or chargeback occur after all, we correct the commission automatically.
How is the monthly price calculated for an annual subscription?
We use the list price per month (net) as the basis (e.g. Pro = €49/month), regardless of whether the referral chose the annual subscription (with discount). You receive 50% of that = €24.50.
Do I have to be a business to become a partner?
No. Partners can also be private individuals. You don't have to buy anything and don't need a company — just an account for the payout. You pay tax on your commission income yourself.
How do I get my money?
Your commissions accumulate as a partner balance. Enter your IBAN in your account (Settings) — we'll pay out the balance and issue you a credit note for it. You don't need to write your own invoice.
What if the referral cancels their subscription right away or gets a refund on a one-time purchase?
If the referral cancels their subscription within the first 14 days (safety period), no credit arises — that's exactly the period we wait out. If an already-credited one-time purchase is refunded or charged back, we automatically book the commission back as a correction. What is rightfully earned, you keep. There is no statutory right of withdrawal in B2B.
Am I allowed to run paid advertising?
Yes. Google Ads, LinkedIn, newsletters, YouTube — all permitted, as long as you don't bid on our brand keywords ("PPWR-QR-Code", "Schluttenbacher") and don't create spam!
Do I have to disclose that I receive a commission?
Yes. When you advertise via your link, please clearly indicate that you receive a commission for referred purchases (e.g. with the note "advertising/affiliate link"). This disclosure obligation rests solely with you — we accept no liability for it.
Tax-wise — what do I need to consider?
Commissions are income that you declare yourself to the tax office. We issue you a commission credit note. For specific advice, consult a tax advisor — we are not permitted to provide it.
