About
Erik Eggerth has been working in the packaging industry since 2013. Over more than a decade he has advised hundreds of manufacturers, importers and retailers on packaging law, material selection, recyclability and supply chain documentation.
When the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR, Regulation 2025/40) was adopted, he founded PPWR-QRCode.de — a platform that generates dynamic QR codes for packaging labels and keeps the legally required product information up to date at the touch of a button, without reprinting.
He regularly publishes articles and guides on PPWR compliance, GS1 Digital Link and sustainable packaging design. The IHK Karlsruhe featured his work in an editorial article on QR codes for the packaging regulation.
